About the Artist > Biography
A native New Yorker, Diane Kaiser earned a BA in Fine Arts from Brandeis University and an MFA in Sculpture from Columbia University in NYC.
Throughout her professional career, she has been involved in making art that moves freely between different media – drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture and installation. A strong inclination for geometry and structural form, coupled with a fascination for texture, pattern and movement, persists in her work across these various disciplines. Concurrent with her studio practice, she has held academic positions at Smith College, Elms College, Fitchburg State University, and others. She has also served as a Master Teacher in Massachusetts.
Diane has exhibited her artwork in galleries and museums in New York, New England and throughout the United States. She maintains a residence and studio near Boston, Massachusetts.
